Welcome to the 2010 SJSA Pop Warner Football and Cheer Season

The St. Johns Sports Association is entering our sixteenth year servicing Northwest St. Johns County. We would like to thank all the parents, participants and volunteers that have helped make our association one of the proudest in the area. Our county is seeing phenomenal growth and SJSA stands ready to service the needs of our vibrant community by providing a safe and fun environment for kids to learn and practice football and cheer.

Our mission is to provide a safe, organized and fun environment where the kids can learn about competition, fair play and work ethic. Pop Warner Little Scholars places a significant emphasis on balancing scholarship with athletics and we believe that our core responsibility to help instill in our young people life skills that can be found by participation in Pop Warner athletics.

Our volunteers are a mix of parents, just like you, and members of our community who provide their time to ensure that the future of our community remains vibrant and energetic. As part of our continuing effort to remain integrated with our neighbors, our volunteers enjoy a unique working relationship with Bartram Trail High School and its athletic department. Our coaches are committed to providing the best possible football and cheer experience that our kids can have.

SJSA Mission
St. Johns Sports Association is a non-profit organization committed to providing a safe, organized, fun and competitive environment for kids to participate in Pop Warner Football and Cheerleading. Our participants balance their desires to excel in scholastics while improving their athletic ability through practice and hard work. We believe every child deserves an opportunity to excel in life, and thought Football and Cheerleading they will learn life skills needed to achieve their personal goals.

Our volunteers understand the need to invest in community and freely give their time to serve as directors, coaches and weekend volunteers. While developing well-rounded young men and women in sports, our parents and their children work together in the areas of concessions, fields, apparel sales and park cleanup. We understand every parents desire to provide the best for their children, which drives our organization improve through good communications with our members and open board meetings.

Registration Information
SJSA is a Pop Warner tackle football and cheer organization that services the Northwest portion of St. John's County defined as district 5 within the Greater Jacksonville Pop Warner conference. Participants from ages 5-15 are eligible to participate in both football and cheerleading. Each season, SJSA organizes several hundred kids into six age divisions. Starting with our Instructional Divisions ;Tiny-Mite and Mitey Mite football for ages 5-8. And followed by our Competitive Football Divisions; Jr. Pee Wee, Pee Wee, Jr, Midget and Midget for ages 9-15. Registration costs are $195 from Mar. 1st- April 17th(general registration), $210 for those that signup between April 18th- May 5th(late registration) and $225 for those after May 6th(extended registration). A small merchant service fee accompanies all online registrations from our online registration vendor.

Parents, we would like to hear your feedback concerning our coaches, their staffs, the association and our conference. The survey is available beginning today until February 28th. Parents are encouraged to participate so that we can continue to improve our organization and acknowledge areas of success. All information is gathered anonymously and reviewed by a small committee.
